I’ve got everything working as it should but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to allow the editors to edit their OWN profiles. They cannot view or edit their profiles event though an edit link appears. I get an error that says, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

How do I give permissions for the users to edit their own profiles, I don’t see this option anywhere.

  • To the top. Plugin Author… Any word on this? In the Adminimize menu, the Profile checkmark is on and there’s no way to uncheck it. How can we turn this off?

    Thanks!

The plugin Adminimize don’t change the roles or the capabilities on the roles. It hide only areas via css selektor or global variables of WordPress, if is it select in the settings page on each role.
You can not change the permissions with this plugin! But this is possible with a plugin like Members.
