    Have you tried:
    - deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). Don't forget the ones in mu-plugins if you have that folder. If you can't get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

It is hard to believe that in 2 minutes you tried what I suggested. You must be very fast and very competent with WordPress, ftp and the like.

The error you describe is usually caused by a javascript conflict.
    Did you change themes?

Hmm, so when I switch my theme to twenty-eleven, I am able to access the text editor just fine. This being so, should I just switch back to my original Smallbiz theme and attempt to access text editor? Thank you.

That confirms it is a theme problem.

You paid for support when you purchased the theme. As we have no access to premium themes we do not support them. You have support here, http://members.expand2web.com/
