Editing with iPad4 - keyboard problem (10 posts)

    Hi
    I would like to edit my sites with my iPad4. But there are problems.
    When I have placed the curser with a touch, the keyboard is inactive, except for the delete and return key. If I leave the site and reload, the keyboard is active again, but when I touch the screen to place curser = same problem. Same issue with external keyboard.

    I think it is a wordpress-problem.
    I do not have this problem with other apps or homesites.
    Do other know this problem?

    I do not use the App. I cleared the cache on my iPad, I rebootet iPad, Safari and so on, but it is still the same.

    Have you tried deactivating all your plugins and switching to the default twentytwelve theme to start trying to narrow down possible causes?

    I can't edit (obviously) but I CAN type in the comment fields - can you?

    yes I can type in comment fields.
    It is the same problem in every theme, I have tried several. Now I use Responsive, and edit on my laptop, but it would be nice if i can do this on my iPad. Maybe I will try the app, and ask in the other forum you suggest.
    I will also try deactivating plugins as you suggest, but it will be tomorrow.

    I have tried to deactivate the plugins. Also with deactivated plugins it is the same.
    I think it is a WordPress-issue. Have you heard about this before?

    I think it is the visual editor that gives the problem. Now it is deactivated, and it seems to work with only the texteditor.

    Using the visual editor also breaks and changes the html-code,
    - many problems with this editor??
