   Hi, I am creating a website (which is going to be a duplicate of a current website http://www.dei-gratia.co.za)

   I am very new to wordpress, but keen to learn it.

   Where would I start in making the wordpress site to look like that one?

   1. How can I make the background stretch across the whole webpage?
   2. How can I edit the header to have a menu like the website I mentioned above?

   Im just looking for help to get started, so any replies will be greatly appreciated!

   Start with Theme_development or pick a theme that has a similar layout to your site and start tweaking it.
