    Hi Stephen,

First of all, I’d like to thank you for your amazing plugin. I spent hours trying to find a good one and I’ve settled for yours. However, I have a question; and I apologise if it has already been asked.

I’ve used the shortcode [eo_events] to make a list of events. However the style is horrible. I’d like to make it similar to the Event List on your demo, using the Omega theme; however after inspecting the codes for mine and yours they seem different.

Is it a Pro-feature, that allows the styling of the Event List? Or am I missing something? Could you point me in the right direction in making my event list similar to the demo version.

(I’ve placed the Event List outside of the sidebar as well.)

    Many thanks,

    Hi,

Glad you like the plug-in :). The theme displays the events differently because it provides a custom template (and a tiny bit of styling). The theme itself will soon be made public, but the template and styling used for the event list have been made available here:

Please note that template is for the widget, you’ll want to create an (identical) shortcode template: shortcode-event-list.php.

Simply add the template(s) to your theme and the styling to your style.css and you’ll be good to go. By doing that you update the plug-in without loosing changes too.

You can consider the matter resolved now!!! Thank you for the support you have given!

I worked round it in another way. I widgetized an area of of the page and placed the widget in it!

The styles are the same as the one on your demo thus solving the problem!!
