Editing style of Blog or Home link versus Pages links (1 post)

Hi there - new WordPress user here. I'm using the "Pool" theme by Boja and I've been trying to get the tab in the header to differentiate the active page from the other pages in the site. In other words, when the user is on my Blog page, the Blog tab should look different (I've chosen to use a different background color to do this).

I've been able to do this successfully for all of the pages by changing the colors for the Pages <div> containers in style.css. But these changes aren't reflected in the tab for the main (front) page, which is the Blog. The Blog tab looks the same whether the user is on the Blog page or not.

My code in the header.php and style.css files is here: http://wordpress.pastebin.ca/636950
And my page is here if you're having difficulty seeing what I am trying to say: http://hippocratesinsandiego.com

Thanks in advance for your help.
