    Hi

I wondered what is the best way to edit posts offline and then copy them into wordpress so that the text is the correct font and spacing etc..

I’m totally new to wordpress and after putting a few posts up using the online editor I created a few in Word 2003 and copied them into the online editor only to find the fonts and spacing etc.. were all wrong.

As I am not always near an internet connection so it would be great to be able to edit them off line and copy them into the online editor later to publish

you can see what I mean here at McDermotts

    Thanks in advance for help

  • If you want to edit and work on a post offline, then just write it in notepad and then copy and paste it directly into the WP editor once you are online. Don’t bother trying to write it in HTML, WP will do that for you.

Might look at the Weblog_Client page in the codex.

You might find the Windows Live Writer beta interesting, for example.
