    Hi all,

I'm a WP newbie with a background in CSS and HTML. I'm currently learning PHP at School of Visual Arts (SVA) in NYC. Here's my website:

    http://www.centerfoldnextdoor.com.

    The blog is at: http://www.centerfoldnextdoor.com/blog.

I just set up WP 2.8 with the "Blend" theme. My homepage has a nav bar just below the header "Masthead" / blog title and directly above the body content. The defualt links in the nav bar are "Home" , which brings me to the blog homepage and "About" which brings me to a sample page that I didn't write. I would like to edit these links...

First-off, I'd like to change the label of "Home" to "Blog Home" so that people don't think it's going to take them back to the index page of Centerfoldnextdoor.com. Next I'd like to get rid of "About" since it links to a BS sample page that I don't need or want. Finally, I'd like to add a link to return to my website's homepage : http://www.centerfoldnextdoor.com. Can someone please tell me which specific PHP file in which specific directory would need to be edited in order to accomplish this task? Also, can you give a hint as to what the basic structure of the code would be? I know how to write a nav bar in HTML using a

    Hi "esmi",

Thanks for your advice. I was able to edit sidebar.php so that "home" has been renamed to "Blog Homepage" and I was able to add a "CND Homepage" link that goes back to the index page of my site. Exactly what I wanted. I figured out how to delete the sample "About" page and now that's gone from the links. I still haven't figured out how to edit the links in the header nav bar to match what I did with the sidebar. One would assume that header.php must be edited. I took a look at the files but the structure of the header nav links is rather convoluted. Perhaps the instructor of my Tues night PHP class can help me decipher that...

    Thanks again!

    :-) -neil
