   Hey guys,
   Im using contempt theme (v1.5) for my site and I want to set up a homepage. Generally, I don't want any of the side bars
   or navigation menus displayed...just the header, a simple welcome message and link to my blogs. How do I edit my contempt theme to create a page like that?

   I already tried altering the contempt theme, but the results appeared in my posts as well.
