• Hi, i’m sorry if this question have been answered before, i tried to find it using search but didnt find out…

I make an inside content layout using div’s (using back office and adding html on the page body), it works fine, but when someone edit the content to change the text (on the view mode), wordpress changes the divs structure, adding <p> tags and breaking down the layout.

Is like wordpress was changing break lines into <p> </p> and correcting what he doesnt like, i would like that wordpress stops doing that… is that possible ?

If i’m not clear ask me, i will be more precise

  • If you have added markup to your pages content, you must stick with HTML tab. Any attempt to use the Visual tab will result in you losing some/all of your markup. That’s just the way in which the Visual Editor works.

Hmm so if i make a div/css structure inside the content you cannot tell to a html newbie to edit the content… thats a huge limitation…

I’m sure there is a way to block the auto correction on the visual editor. Someone has a clue ?
