Editing Arthemia's Blogroll? (8 posts)

    Hi,

    Arthemia posts their own links on the side bar blogroll without any obvious access to editing them.

    The default WordPress blogroll doesn't access the Arthemia blogroll.

    Does anyone know how to go about finding Arthemia's blogroll in order to edit it?

    What script is it located in to change it.

    How can you make it so that the Arthemia sidebar blogroll can be edited in WordPress's default blogroll editor? Is that possible? Practical?

    John

  2. You're using a premium/paid theme. It's best to go to the support site where you bought the theme. These forums are only for free and WordPress/Automattic released themes.

    Actually I'm using Arthemia free, the unpaid version of Arthemia.

    The site offering Arthemia free doesn't respond to inquiries for their free versions.

    But I must be doing something right that you thought it was a paid version.

    The site I am using it on is:

    I did find where to edit the blogroll in the Arthemia Free "Sidebar.php".

    However, I would like to change the code to allow me to edit it in the default WordPress editor for Links and Blogrolls.

    Does anyone know how to do that?

    I can post the Arthemia Free sidebar.php here if will help:

    <div id="sidebar">

        <div id="sidebar-ads">
        <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "ca-pub-8770716327131641";
    /* Sidebar: 300 X 250 */
    google_ad_slot = "7521588869";
    google_ad_width = 300;
    google_ad_height = 250;
    //-->
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

        </div>

        <div id="sidebar-top">

    The wordpress.org support forums are meant for the core application, themes and plugins that are distributed on wordpress.org. Please try contacting the theme's developer.

    I do apologize, I didn't know all the restrictions for the WordPress.org forums.

    I have tried contacting Arthemia's website and they do not offer assistance for their free versions of Themes.

    Since Arthemia's website doesn't offer assistance for their free themes and WordPress.org doesn't offer assistance either maybe you can direct me to where I might find assistance with this kind of inquiry.

    Otherwise, I'll have to settle for editing it in the actual code.

    I can only suggest that you consider hiring someone to carry out the work for you.
