Editing a draft from another writer (4 posts)

    Hi,

On my site ( http://www.echoplayer.com ) I'm the admin, set at level 10.

I have another writer at level 1.

He wrote something, and saved it as a draft, so I could go in and edit some stuff.

But the draft didn't appear when I was logged in.

He had to publish it first, so then I could edit it, and set it back to a draft :?

This seems really odd though - is there a setting or something to allow me to edit everyone's drafts?

    Thanks,

Funny, I thought I could do that, but I just tried it and I can't. So rarely have the occasion to edit another's post prior to publish. Running WP 1.2.2.

  4. As of this time, no. Drafts are saved privately for each author. This may or may not have been fixed in the v1.5 betas, but I'm not sure. My recommendation would be to have the other author email you his articles for editing.
