Edited page appears as comment and intended page stays the same

My blog is http://goalachieving.wordpress.com/ I am starting to manage my blog myself and want to update the Welcome page and the About page and their links. The Welcome appears as a sidebar. I go to pages, edit it and change links and preview, which looks OK. However when I update, my edited version appears like a comment in the main section and nothing happens to the sidebar. I need to edit all my pages and am obviously missing something. Please help!
