   I need a contact form plugin that will allow me to edit the message areas to create an extensive "quote request" form for my web design business.

   I have found a couple of contact form plugins but editing the layout and form fields appears to be a little more than my limited php knowledge will allow. Any suggestions?

   Try PSX-Mail... thats the contact form plugin I use and it seems pretty easy to modify.
