   Hi

   I have many categories on my blog (more than 300, and i'm expecting increase much more), and i'm experiencing troubles when I edit an category.

   Suppose I have the following category tree:

   Chemistry
   -- Organic Chemistry
   -- Inorganic Chemistry
   Physics
   -- Optics
   -- Mechanics

   When I edit category "chemistry", to add or change the description, for example, the subcategories organic and inorganic chemistry goes to Physics.

   This isn't a rule, sometimes happens, sometimes everything runs fine.

   It's becoming a big problem for me =( . anyone knows a solution for this?

   Have you tried repairing your database?

   Do you mean REPAIR TABLE sql command?
   I dont use this, but this really could be the source of my problems?

   Yes I do. It's a possible source.

   Alternatively, you could try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
