Just a litle request for timestamp function. It would be better if you could type in new time only AFTER you have selected the "Edit timestamp" button. I must be dummer than Pavlov´s dog, but I have countless times typed in new time and after publishing noticed that time haven´t changed.

Yeah, a bit of JS that enables/disables the inputs depending on the checkbox would be cool indeed.
Login to the trac and make a new ticket requesting this along with a link to this thread. ;)

Could someone who knows how to create this kind of JS function, tell me/us is it possible and is it way too complicated for someone like myself who has below-average programming skills?

If you don't know Javascript, then it probably wouldn't be too easy to do.

Just an update: a modified version of your idea will be included in WordPress v2.1: http://trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3648
When any of the inputs get edited, the checkbox gets checked. ;)
