   I wanted to use Google Analytics on my blog so what is the best method of putting Google Analytics code is a Theme edit or any plugin.

   I have read many times that any plugin could slow down the wordpress blog or could crash it so I am not sure about it.

   Kindly let me know your experience about Plugin and which Plugin.
