[resolved] Edit the_category 'multiple' seperator? (5 posts)

    Hello,

    How/where would I adjust the parent/child seperator from the default "/" to something else e.g. "=> " when the_category(' and ',multiple) is invoked?

    Hmm, yes. This explains why I couldn't find it -it was missing from the code!

    The trunk version appears to be exactly what I'm looking for but I'm not running trunk (and it doesn't work on 2.6.2 for some reason. I don't see why not.)

    Let me check what's in 2.6.3

    For those following the action at home:

    • Apply this diff to wp-includes/category-template.php
    • Make your template code edits. For me, I edited single.php and changed <p><?php the_category(' and ',multiple) ?>.</p> to <p><?php the_category(' and ',multiple,false,'&rarr;') ?>.</p>

    So awesome.
