Edit the Meta Widget with WP 2.4.1 (5 posts)

    Hi

I want to remove several aspects of the "Meta" widget which I have in my sidebar.

I've read several threads about this but they are all 3 years old or more relating to older versions of wordpress. One suggestion was to edit the '/wp-includes/widgets.php' file. I downloaded it and looked for the values but they were not there - just two widget declarations at the start but no further mention.

Can anyone tell me how I remove everything but the "Login" part of the meta widget using WP 2.4.1?

Are you saying that you are using WordPress 2.4.1?? (Hope not - that's a major security risk.)

    3.4.2, rather.

Surely there's a way to do this?
