edit text in dashboard>appearance>themes

    i downloaded WP via Simple Scripts in Host Monster C-Panel. i made some changes but don’t know how to edit the text for blog title.
    here is my web page:

    can someone please point me in the right direction? i saw reference to “Blog writing software” somewhere, but i don’t have anything but WP.
    do i need something else?
