[resolved] Edit postname on pages no matter what permalink style is (2 posts)

    On my development system, I have to use non-pretty permalinks because mod_rewrite isn't working properly. On my live system, I use pretty permalinks.

    The problem is that I can't edit or enter the post name on my pages unless I'm using pretty permalinks. How can I force wordpress to ALWAYS show me that field so I can enter it when I want to?

    By the way, I suggest that hiding it is a pretty lame default action.
