  • Which version?

TThis goes under the 2.0 section and *yes*, I was going to point out to the OP earlier that there are issues in WP2 that are of this nature.

    Ver. 2.0 RC3

    Wow! Frightening messages, indeed.

Similar issues were raised in the wp-testers mailing list (about 2 days ago). <Save and continue editing> has issues. No error messages though…

I just installed 2.0 (final release) and am getting the same message every time I Publish or Save:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: ixr_client in /home/httpd/vhosts/spookyland.ch/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 842

Was this never resolved or is there a fix for this?

Oddly I am getting this with a 2.0.1 install. I have similiar installs on the same server … what gives? Any solutions?

Aren’t I stupid … easy solution found here:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/53681

If one has their make filenames lowercase switch thrown in FTP Program … all sorts of weird errors could crop up. I just renamed the file to it’s correct name. Now I sit and wonder how many other files are affected. I may have to load over … but because the names will be different it won’t overwrite them … so must I do a compare? Sigh.

Anyway easy fix. Thanks to whoever posted that answer.
