Edit Post link doesn’t show

This is complicated to explain, but my Edit Post link doesn’t show. However, the tag is in the code and it was working before.

I’m using an add-on domain, http://whataboutmomblog.com pointing to a subdirectory at http://idratherbewriting.com/family.

Am I supposed to code my .htaccess file a certain way so that it works? I know the problem is related to the add-on domain; but I am not sure how to fix it.
