Both sites when I'm in the admin area and select a picture to insert into the post, normally once the picture shows in the visual box I can click on it and edit the details, shrink or enlarge the picture, change the location of the picture, etc...well for the past 2 days when I click to edit the picture that box never comes up and I either get a totally translucent grey background or the screen just goes white.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
- increasing the available memory?

I would also try clearing the cache in your browser, clearing your cookies as well as trying it in a different up-to-date browser.
