Edit Pages Box Does Not Show Data in WP 3.5

    Upgraded to 3.5, and could no longer see content in the Edit Pages box. Problem occurred identically in Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome.

    Inserting define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true); in the wp-config.php and this corrected the issue.
    Below is the output from the error console in firefox.

    Error: ReferenceError: getUserSetting is not defined

    Clearly I am not the only one that has had this issue. Will now reinsert the SCRIPT_DEBUG line and use until the bug is fixed.

    I can’t find the wp-config.php in my file manager and I am sure I had seen it there before????

    It should be at the root of your website. If it is not there, try recovering it from a backup.

    Hi,

    I deleted my inactive Bullet proof security and re-installed it and activated it and now I have the Visual Editor.

    And I have the wp-config.php back!!

    Still learning about the Bullet proof plugin that’s why it was inactive.

    Yay, I can write posts again
