    Hi

I’ve tried both [wpuf_edit} and {wpuf_editpost] in a page I created called Edit Post.

With [wpuf_edit] it display the page but with no posts available to edit (ie blank screen except for the page header).
With [wpuf_editpost] it actually displays [wpuf_editpost] under the page header – as if it’s treating it like text and not a shortcode – but still no posts.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

    Malcolm

    solved it

Can you share with us how you solved it?

[wpuf_editpost] is not working at all, it just prints out to the screen, so the label on WP User Frontend Dashboard – Others, is incorrect.

When I enter [wpuf_edit] to the page I selected as my “Edit Page” I get nothing…

You can find this on the plugin main folder readme.txt

    1. Create a new Page “New Post” and insert shorcode [wpuf_addpost].
For a custom post type **event**, use it like [wpuf_addpost post_type="event"]
    1. Create a new Page “Edit” for editing posts and insert shorcode [wpuf_edit]
    1. Create a new Page “Profile” for editing profile and insert shorcode [wpuf_editprofile]
    1. Create a new Page “Dashboard” and insert shorcode [wpuf_dashboard]
To list custom post type **event**, use it like [wpuf_dashboard post_type="event"]
    1. Set the *Edit Page* option from *Others* tab on settings page.
    1. To show the subscription info, insert the shortcdoe [wpuf_sub_info]
    1. To show the subscription packs, insert the shortcode [wpuf_sub_pack]
    1. For subscription payment page, set the *Payment Page* from *Payments* tab on settings page.
    1. To edit users, insert the shortcode [wpuf-edit-users]

Sorry, but that’s not helpful. I’ve tried doing that and it didn’t work, as I mentioned before.

You don’t want to access the edit page directly because it doesn’t give you the option to select which post to edit. In the dashboard you see a list of all your posts, if you click edit next to a post it will then direct you to the edit page for that specific post.
