[resolved] Edit how links widget displays link (5 posts)

    Hi,
    I would like to change how my links are displayed in the links widget.

    As it is now, the links are displayed as an unordered list. I also want to remove the heading. The heading is picked up from the link's category.

    I use an image for a link so I really don't want a bullet or heading to be displayed before the image. However, I still want the bullet to appear before everything else (pages, etc).

    I've read that the bookmark-template.php controls this however I am a novice on what to change.

    I tried using the text widget to display the links. But they do not align correctly on the page, probably due to the number of images.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Never, ever, edit WordPress core scripts. You can do all of this using pure CSS within your theme.

    I wasn't planning on, though it may help with identifying the CSS to use. Thanks though.
    I needed help with the CSS identifier to add something like "*****{ display: none; }"

    .footer-widget-wrapper .custom-sidebar-title{ display: none; }

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.
