edit homepage

    Hello, I would like to add some pothographs to the slider of the homepage but I haven´t a buttom called ” edit page” on the top. My theme is Minimatica Could somebody tell me something?

    Index.php inside of your themes folder is usually the themes homepage file.

    I would recommended splitting into a child theme so any changes you make don’t get overwritten when the theme is updated.

    Sorry, Evan, I don´t understand. I suppose an option called ” edit page” appear on the top, but in my case no. In another theme in appearance there was an option called homepage, but only in that theme

    That’s how your theme developer coded the theme up. Not all themes are constructed the same way. My guess, the only way you can change the structure of the homepage is by editing index.php via FTP directly.
