[resolved] Edit "Home Page" link (4 posts)

I set up my hosting through GoDaddy and installed WP 3.2 through its connection. Apparently, the files were stored in my site folder, not the root directory. GoDaddy had me move the WP files to a root directory. Now on my site, where I have a link to "Home," as in home page, it still shows the previous link (mysite.com/wordpress). I need to edit that link to delete "wordpress," and I can't find where it is. The address is correct under Settings --> General --> WordPress address (URL) & Settings --> General --> Site address (URL). So where do I edit this link so it's correct?

FYI, when using breadcrumbs, the "Home" link goes to the correct address.

Is this forum moderated by WP staff? I really need a solution for this and I'm told by my hosting service that WP has to provide it.

    karonwarren,

It sounds like you may just need to edit the URL in your wp-config.php file. WordPress had a pretty solid article here:

This should get you sorted out.

Thanks. Trevor. I found the problem elsewhere. Apparently, the system created a custom link for this particular function, and I corrected that.
