   Hi all,

   I'm looking to remove the "powered by" and such line of links and text at the bottom of my wordpress page and add a few things of my own like a "Copyright 2011" a link to a FAQ page and a link back to the top.

   I'm not sure even where to begin; I poked around the appearance>editor section on my dashboard and realized I was in a bit over my head.

   Sorry if this is a repost or more information is required, even a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

   Try looking in the theme's footer.php template file.

   Hi thank you.

   I did look there, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I did some searches of the forum and on the internet via Google but still came up short. Perhaps I'm missing something...
