..Edit Footer as if it were a Page from Admin?

Hi there,

I’m in the process of organizing a WP site which will have ‘About text’ viewable on any page, Site-wide. I need to have the content editable from admin. My question is what is best practice for approaching this task?

I thought as the footer is present on all page’s then it might be the most suitable candidate…

i might be wayy off here. Please correct me if so.
