Edge Suite in Multisite installations?

    Is it possible to use this plugin in a multisite installation? I installed the plugin, however when managing files, the upload is successful but file does not appear uploaded. The plugin seems to be pointing to a specific path for uploading and managing.

    I looked through the blogs.dir directory and found the folder for the blog I was trying to use this on. There is an edge_suite folder inside its files however nothing is in there except for the empty project folder.

    Hi, sorry for the late reply, was away last week.

    To be honest I have never tested Edge Suite in a multi site setup, will try this next week. It should work in general though as I’m making heavy use of the wp api, which of course supports multi sites. The created edge_suite folder supports that claim 😉

    Are you sure it’s not a general upload issue? Did you maybe test Edge Suite on the same server with a single page installation? Do you get any error messages at all when uploading an OAM file? Can you check the upload directory in your settings.

    Hi all,
    I have also experienced this issue with a multisite installation. No error message, just doesn’t show up even though the top part says it was successful. I did not have a chance to try it out on a single setup.

    Hey there,
    so I got a chance to look into it. Did you by any chance activate the plugin over the network? Because in that case hook activate will not get called and the custom database table that is needed will not be created. It all seems to work when you activate the plugin for each single site.

    Please let me know if that works for you. I’ll check how this can be fixed for network activation, just wanted to let you know…

    I’m marking this a resolved for now as it works as far as I can tell on multisites when you don’t enable the plugin over the network. The issue will be completely resolved in the coming rewrite of the plugin as I’m not using extra tables there.
