EDD Paypal IPN and Donate Extra?

    Just want to know this because I would like to use Paypal for my Shop and for Donations, so the problem is I can’t find a donation plugin/option for edd and I would like to know what to do when I want to use EDD for my Paypal Shop and Donate Extra for my Paypal Donations.

    Both require to setup the IPN Link in my paypal account to a certain plugin based adress on my server but I can only setup one link to point back to my site.

    So I would choose EDD because I think it’s more important but will that also mean that the Donation plugin won’t work anymore?

    The IPN settings in your PayPal account are not required for EDD to function. It should work just fine without them (or having them set to the other plugin) since it passes all IPN info via the API.

    There are a few rare instances where this is not the case, but they are few and far between.

    So I can have the IPN Link set to the other plugin and EDD will still receive the notifications by paypal? How can that be?

    Yes. It’s a feature of the PayPal API that makes it possible.

    Then I see this issue as resolved! Great I already believed I could only use one plugin to handle paypal payments! Thank you very much!
