   Hi everyone,

   I'm considering transferring a friend's ecommerce site over to wordpress to help save her some money. I've been looking around and there doesn't seem to be a clear answer as to what the best ecommerce plugin is. Can you please help by giving me your any suggestions and/or advice?

   Her needs:
   1. She has ~1200 products that I would like to import somehow. It's a csv file (and I might be able to get another format from the vendor.)
   2. She needs a product search function.
   3. I need something that's easy relatively easy to maintain long term (I don't want to make her update and manage code).

   Preferably, something fee, but if it's worth it, i'd consider paying.

   I greatly appreciate your help.

   thanks, esmi, but that thread doesn't completely help because i'm looking to sell more than just a few products.

   Any other suggestions?

   Why do you think those recommendations are limited to shops with only a few products. eShop has users selling hundreds of products from a single site & I dare say that the other ecommerce plugin devs could say the same.
