eCommerce plugin. No online purchase required

I’m choosing a platform for a simple catalog store which doesn’t assume online purchase. The customers should be able to browse, search and request quote for the product via emails/forms and no direct purchase is required.

The catalog contains different categories so attribute customization and taxonomy support is needed (e.g. the computer category has totally different set of attributes than garden tools). Also the catalog will be rather big enough to avoid manual site-base editing so import/export functionality is required. Last thing is document and specification support. The specifications will come from a database and PDF documents to be generated automatically rather than manually and be then pre-uploaded.

Question: are there appropriate plugins for WP and if so which one to research?
