Okay, aside from the fact that WordPress is starting to get a bit big in the footprint, I have a major gripe about the naming scheme of WP core files. If I were limiting myself to a point and click existence, then it wouldn't matter what the filenames are called. Unless I want to use your interface to edit files (a bit clunky and no undo history), I use vi at the Unix command line to make WP changes.
Even with tab completion, however, I am forced to type several letters (most of the file name) because many of the files have similar prefixes and names.
Could you please use more variation in the naming scheme of files so editing them isn't so demanding on the hands?
Thank you in advance,
- R
