   I host my website with Earthlink- the Worpress version is 2.0.4 - when I upload themses, the pages are blank - Earthlink tech support tells me they only support the deafult theme - any owrkaround?

   2.0.4 is old and insecure. Have you considered upgrading wordpress?

   That may address any theme compatibility (not to say that is your problem, but it may be related) issues as well as remove some known vulnerabilities that are present in the version you are using.

   Thanks for the tip - I looked at the previous comments you provided. Based on the warning about hidden files, I am afraid the task may be too much for me. Seems like Earthlink and customers would benefit if they provided the WordPress upgrade, so I shall go back to them. If that fails, I may get the courage to try it as suggested in the previous links.
