    Hello folks
Newbie here! I'm quite happy posting with my new blog. One thing, when I create my new post with pics etc and publish it, it arrives fine with all the followers but most read it all there in their Inbox without clicking through to the main site so missing out on the theme etc. It just makes the whole thing look like an e-mail. Is there a way of publishing an alert with an invitation to click through to the latest post? Did I make sense here?

    Thanks for your time

Sorry but this forum is only for self-hosted WordPress sites.

Although to answer your question somewhat -- the email that your followers receive is a very standard format, and it looks like an email because, well, it's an email. :)
It actually already is just an alert with an invitation to click through, isn't it?

Thanks for the advice. Well yes it IS just an email but as it shows all the text and pictures straight off, most don't click though. Anyhoo, thanks again.

One more thing Senff, I have posted at Support @ WordPress. This I have done 3 times in the last 2 months and I have NEVER had a reply so I don't hold out much hope......
