Hi there,
actually I'm looking for a plugin, that informs the admin via e-mail, whether any installed plugin offers an update (or not).
Searching for some keywords (plugin, automatic, e-mail, notification, admin) of that features gives me nearly any feedback but not the result I'm looking for.
I can't imagine, that its not out there.

You are always best to use Google to search for plugins
for example
site:wordpress.org email plugin update notifications
or a similar search and you would find
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mail-on-update/
in 5 seconds or less.
My recommendation this is resolved.
