    We are receiving notices in our email log that people are sending our posts to each other. These email addresses look very bogus and their comments have nothing to do with our posts. Usually they have to do with cars. We are an accounting blog. How can we stop this? I’ve looked everywhere on the site and can’t find an answer. We are very new at this and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

    Thanks for your help. We also have our “No” comment box checked. We don’t accept comments but in our WordPress software under e-mail we see the “To” and “From” emails that are bogus and look like they are computer generated. Is there something our web host can do? We also had 15 subscribers under “Authors and Users”. Are these the people who added us to their RSS feeds?

    No. Authors doesn’t show your RSS subscribers. These 15 have registered for your blog. You can delete them if you don’t want them. You might have “Anyone Can Register” selected in your options. Turn that off if you don’t want anyone else to be able to register/comment/post.

    Brendawordpresscom: hmmm u dun accept comments but user is able to email the post, am i right?
