Dynamic Table from Post Category?

    Hi,

    first, just have to say your plugin is wonderful!

    I couldn’t find an existing thread for my question and if there is, then I am sorry I overlooked it.

    Is there a way to make the tables dynamic and pull automatically from certain categories when new posts are created? I run a review site and this would make life so much easier if this is possible instead of manually updating each table every time.

    I would like for each table to pull from their respective country. Each country is it’s own category. In this case each country is a child category of the parent category “Reviews”

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    Unfortunately, I need to disappoint you. This is not possible in TablePress, as this is outside of the intended scope and use case. TablePress can only work with data that was entered on its own screens or imported from a file. Pulling data from other database tables is not possible, as TablePress simply does not support such dynamic data insertion processes. Sorry 🙁

    Instead, you should probably look into a solution that uses custom WP_Query, and retrieves all data from the DB, and displays that as a table.
