Dynamic Headers - how to make directory writable? (2 posts)

I am very new to this, so this is probably a dumb question.

I just downloaded the Dynamic Headers plugin and am using the Twenty Eleven 1.3 theme. It looks like I need to create a folder and make it writable in order to more forward.

Since I am new, I have no clue where to begin this process. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

  2. I haven't looked at the Dynamic Headers plugin in an age, but can you make the directory 755 using your FTP client? That's RWXR-XR-X.

Or put another way: the webserver will be able to write to the files but all other processes will only be able to read them.

Give this a read, it may make it easier.
