The Gallery is optimized to work just fine in IE9

The best way to check that for yourself is view the Gallery installed on the WooThemes Canvass on the demo site.

There will be a plugin or perhaps the theme that you are using that is causing a conflict in IE9.

Users testing for this have found 2 plugins cause the main image not to show in IE9

    The Premium Plugin – UberMenus

and this Gallery plugin DM Albums

On your test site, deactivate your plugins 1 by 1 until you find which one of your plugins it is that is causing the conflict – and please if you find it – post it here so other users know.

    Thank you.

I believe the problem is related to the Mystile theme… I switched briefly to Canvas and it was ok.

Good – thank you for testing.

Can I suggest you now contact the Mystile theme developer and ask him to test the gallery with his theme for the IE9 Issue. Ask him to either fix the theme or give you the code that needs to be added to their theme to fix the issue. If the theme dev will do this can you please post the outcome here? That is either the issue is fixed or the code users have to add to the theme to solve the issue. Thank you.

    Hi,
is there a way to workaround this problem withouth switching the theme?
We contacted our theme developer (Happyness) but he said it’s a plugin problem.
The problem is only on IE9/IE10. Both FF and Chrome works.
If I use “compatibility view” in IE the plugin start working.

How can I make the plugin work?

    Thank you.

    @faggio4321,

The plugin works perfectly in IE – as you would have read in the above comments – test it for yourself by viewing the demo on the Woo Canvass theme. The theme you have chosen Happiness makes no mention of being WooCommerce Compatible so it a little surprising your theme dev would give you that reply seeing as how popular the WooCommerce plugin is. But perhaps that is the reason he has only ever sold 31 of that theme.

However it may not be the theme that is causing the problem – other users have found that it was another plugin that was caused the IE issue. If you wanted to test for that you can by deactivating the plugins you have installed one by one and testing. That is how devs test for plugin conflicts – Its always best to do it on a test site.

    Sounds weird,
I think it’s impossibile that the problem is the theme because the plugin does not work with default WordPress theme too (“Twenty Eleven/Twelve”).
The problem is not the WooCommerce plugin itself but only Dynamic Gallery.
Basically my site has only woocommerce plugin with csv import and qtranslate (all this plugin was downloaded more than 31 times).
How it’s possible that the plugin doesn’t make dynamic gallery work in IE9/IE10 but working fine in Chrome/FF?
Also: why the plugin works in “compatibility view” mode?
I was planning to buy the full version of the plugin but if I do not solve this issue I think I will search for another solution.
    Any suggestion?

Hello Steve and congrats on a great plugin,

    in reply to this:

Unfortunately regarding this issue it seems that Mystile theme (a free Woo themes theme compatible with Woocommerce) presents an incompatibility with Dynamic Gallery LITE and IE9. After contacting Woo Ninjas I got this response:

“Regrettably I cannot provide support regarding 3rd party plugin issue I’m afraid as this would not be covered under our support policy and you will have to contact the author of this 3rd party plugin for assistance with this issue with it.”

Since I have just finished developing a site with Mystile and still want to use this awesome plugin’s functionality (since unfortunately most of the users use IE9); I am kind in a dead end here.

Would the paid version of Dynamic Gallery offer a solution to this or can you provide any other advice?

Since Woo themes provide a bunch of free themes (Mystile being one of them) it would be really nice to make Dynamic Gallery also work on those free themes; correct me if I’m wrong but Canvas theme is not a free one (just making an observation here!)

    Counting on your help!

    Best,

    Hello Bill,

You can use the WooCommerce Dynamic gallery now on the MyStile theme or any theme you want and it will work in all IE version from 7.0 up – thanks to some help from our friends.

Update to the new version – see changelog.
