Hi, I am making a website based on wordpress and my customer wants some kind of dynamic banners (e.g. Home – banner1.jpg, about – banner2.jpg etc).
Which is the fastest and most reliable way to archieve that?

if I understand correctly

is_single( ‘home’ ) [… load image home.jpg] ?

Assuming you’re referring to a static front page, is_front_page() would be a better choice. Your statement above will always return false as there is never a situation where you would have a single Post as the designated home page.
