Duplicate multilingual events with WPML

Hi!
I’m running events manager with WPML and WPML compatibility plugin. My site has two languages, catalan and spanish. Catalan is the main language.

When I duplicate an event I do it on Events section on the main language, but the translation is not duplicated. If I duplicate manually the translation and then I assign it as a translation of the new main entry, that translated event has separated dates, location and tickets than the main language event as it’s not a translation created from the main language.

The only solution I found was copying and pasting manually the text of the translated event.

Could you please improve on the duplication function while in WPML? It would be perfect when duplicating that the event duplicates all languages together or maybe an option when linking translations to turn off dates, locations and tickets and make it dependent from the main language.

Perfect, let’s see if this can be solved. I’ve also contacted WPML support and they said it should be an issue with events-manager-wpml plugin, but if you think the issue could come from WPML they’ll have a look more carefully.

i’d guess it’s probably us because wp has no duplication function, we’d have to duplicate the translation posts as well.

Hello,
WPML (it’s an option settings) can display the post in the original language when there’s no translation.
This feature seems not work with Events Manager…

Sorry for the delay, we’re still working on some post-5.5 update stuff and will move our attention to the WPML add-on asap (which is the plugin you’ll see improvements when updated)

It’s been 9 months since the first post and there’s still any solution about them. I’m really worried about it and as I said somewhere before, if paying for a PRO membership would help solving it, I’ll be happy to do it.

unfortunately I can’t give you any definite dates yet, it is something we’re hoping to get done ASAP. going pro won’t make a difference regarding the timing. sorry I can’t provde you with more information.
