Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » Dump print.aspx urls with 301 to noindex, nofollow page

  • I have one question about Advanced tab in Yoast SEO section on the Page editor screen:
I would like to dump a bunch of old site print.aspx?id=xx URLs, and was thinking about htaccess redirect to a WordPress page with querystring and set the nofollow, noindex for that page in SEO options.
Will that work? And what if the new print page urls haven’t been picked up by SEs yet?
Or is it a better plan to leave the redirect intact allowing the robots to access the new print wordpress page?
There are tens of thousands of old site print.aspx urls, probably triggering duplicate content, but not sure about that.
