   Just wondering if it's ok to simply remove the www from the URLs in Settings > General or if anything else would need to also be changed.

   This is a brand new site so I'm not worried about indexing problems.

   As long as the non-www DNS name points to the same web server instance, then you should be fine.

   Try going to the non-www DNS name in your browser. If you get redirected to the www version (by WordPress) then give it a shot.

   Changed it and was logged out but site still resolved. Logged back in and seems to be fine. Thanks.
