Dropdown menu on a image map?

    I have my header that is a background image, which is normal … and have an image map to make the menu clickable.

    I am wanting to add a dropdown menu from these map locations just to organize the site a little more into sections.

    Does anyone know how to do this, or can point me in the right direction?

    It kind of depends on what type of effect you are looking for.

    jQuery, for example, could be used for more elegant fades/transitions/slidedowns, etc.

    Here is one example. You would have to view the source and see how to modify it for yourself.

    If that does not apply, try searching:
    image map with tooltip
    or
    jquery image map with tooltip

    Thanks, I’ll try that one. I saw some other examples on that site too.

    I just wanted something simple. Probably go with the map w/ tooltip.
