[resolved] Dropdown menu allways showing in theme from scratch (6 posts)

    Newby here.
    Following instructions strictly from Lynda Dreamweaver and WordPress: Building Themes, I built a really simple WordPress theme from scratch. And all seems to be working.
    I've also registered (in functiond.php) and called (in header.php) menus.
    But no matter what I do, the dropdown menus for the subpages I create, allways show up. They're not hidden untill you click the menu above.
    Is it a css-issue? Or do I need to add extra code? I've been at this for weeks now and I cant seem to solve this. Driving me nuts.
    http://www.zubli.com/odette. Still looks ugly, but never mind that. My problem is the menu.
    Help much appreciated.

    It sounds like you need the support of a CSS forum like http://csscreator.com/forum

    Maybe, but right now I'm not even sure if it's a css thing.

    Okay, this is basically all you need;

    ul ul {
     display: none;
    }

    li:hover ul {
     display: block;
    }

    Maybe, but right now I'm not even sure if it's a css thing.

    What are you not sure is a CSS thing? Dropdown menus? Dropdown menus are CSS (or javascript) things and CSS works in WordPress.

    I've just fired up my laptop and inserted your cod to style.css and it works! Submenu still looks horrible, but now I can work on that.
    Told you I was a newby. :-)
    Do you know of a good site to learn alle menu related css?
    And thank you for your help.
