Dropbox API: (7) couldn't connect to host (6 posts)

    On several sites I get this warning. Though dropbox itself is online. Is there something wrong with the API on the dropbox end? Or might this be a bug in version 3.06?

    No known bug for that in 3.06. I think it is a temporary problem or a firewall.

    Thanks, it's been lingering on for a while. But now it seems to have solved itself. Probably some temporary hickup in the dropbox API which lasted for a few days or so...

    I have the same problem since three days. I connected the Dropbox (free version) new with BackWPup. But this morning the same email with the same error than the last two days. How can I fix it?

    I've been having the same problem for a while now. It started a couple of weeks back with errors in the log. Now I've upgraded to the newer version it's happening when I try and re-authenticate dropbox.

    Dropbox API: (7) couldn't connect to host

    It would help to have slightly more information in the error. Even a line number would help locate the problem. :-)

    Sorry, but for this problem i can't do anything. It is a Problem on Dropbox side or the host block the connections.
